Parks: Jaycee Park
The Jaycee Park Playground will be CLOSED for renovations starting Monday, April 7.
The new play structures are expected to be ready by JUNE.
We look forward to unveiling the NEW playground!
This Spring a new playground will be installed at Jaycee Park. Updates to these play structures were a top priority highlighted in recent community feedback and is one of six key initiatives highlighted in the Greendale Recreation Study. The existing playground, built in the late 1990s, is the oldest on Greendale Schools property and needs a major upgrade.
Greendale Park & Recreation Director Ryan Broderick said. “"We are thrilled to bring this new, inclusive playground to Jaycee Park. Over the past few years, we've listened to the community, and it's clear that creating a modern, accessible playground was a priority for our families. The new design ensures that children of all abilities can enjoy the space, and we’re especially excited about the innovative features like the 360 Loop and Synergy Playfort. We hope this playground will become a gathering spot for our residents, and we're looking forward to seeing families enjoy it this summer."
