Recreation Assistance Program (RAP)

What is RAP?
RAP is a Recreation Assistance Program developed by the Greendale Park and  Recreation Department. The Greendale Park and Recreation Department recognizes that some of the residents of the Village of Greendale require financial assistance to attend certain recreational activities. RAP provides these residents with the opportunity to attend these programs at a discounted rate.

How are funds for RAP provided?
Money “rounded up” at registration time and donations to the department.

Who May Apply for RAP?
Any family or individual who is a resident of the Village of Greendale may apply for the Recreation Assistance Program. To qualify, residents must meet Federal Income & Financial Support Guidelines (Income Eligibility Guidelines for the Federal Government will be acceptable guidelines for the Department to follow encompassing household size and annual income.)

How Do I Apply for RAP?
Read over the Policies/Guidelines Information
Complete and return an application to the Greendale Park and Recreation Department by the deadline dates:

  • 1st of December for winter/spring registration period
  • 1st of April for summer registration period
